MV Isle of Mull passing Maiden Island on the way to Oban

I saw this view one summer evening from a bay on north Kerrera while resting on a sea kayaking trip around the island.

Ferries are certainly challenging to paint, I attempted to write all the writings I could see, however, the Gaelic name of the boat is too small to read accurately. 

I enjoyed painting the seaweedy shore too, with the little temporary seaweed island.

The size is approximately 403 x 300 x 15 mm and the sides are painted, so no need for framing. The back of the painting is fitted with quality D rings and picture wire and is ready to hang.
